Nicholson Baird — Fashion Writer & Stylist

Nicholson Baird is a New York based fashion writer and stylist, currently working as the Fashion Market Assistant at Interview Magazine.

Over his four years pursuing a BFA in Fibers at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Baird’s unwavering pursuit in fashion media led him to the role of Editor-in-Chief of SCAD Manor, the university’s premier student media platform, where he oversaw all published visual and written fashion content. In a large overhaul of The Manor as a publication, Baird grew the platform in the wake of the pandemic, restructuring and restoring in-person meeting attendance to record highs for the group.

Over the year-long course of his senior year at SCAD, Baird simultaneously worked as a writer for V Magazine and VMAN. At V, he spent his time researching for print issues, conducting interviews, and extensively covering fashion shows, collections, and news for the publication’s digital platform.

Spanning from Savannah, Georgia to New York City, Baird has taken on a multitude of styling jobs; including commercial work for Mytheresa’s print publication, creative imagery for Blobb by Sofia Elias, and assisting on a week-long styling sprint in projects for pop legend, Madonna.
